Hi, I'm getting the itch to play wow again. Can someone tell me what's the most populated private servers that are not wotlk please? I don't care how well scripted it is or how friendly the community is, I don't want to play in a ghostland.
Is there any decent legion server?
No, unfortunately. There are some Russian servers (UWoW), but they are pretty bad (population is meh, scripting is worse than Firestorm from my experience).
There's also Wow Koi, but it's more like a testing server, they seem to focus on Bugfixes and making their core the best it can be, but population is basically nonexistent (I've found like 20 people online max).
If you wanna do solo content only, I guess you can give them a go, I hope they will pop off one day, I crave Legion as well.
Mistblade (MoP) from Stormforge.gg is very populated atm, pop is around 6k during peak and 3k during its lowest dip.

Turtle and tauri are the best servers I've found. Turtle is vanilla with added content (new professions, races, quest hubs, instances, and will have some custom class changes soon™). Tauri is a blizzlike MoP that has progressed through expansions since vanilla over the last like 14 years.
TurtleWoW is a nice and friendly place. Vanilla+ also has good pop.

ascension is always popping, but not what you're looking for.
Yeah I have tried it before but it's not my cup of tea. I enjoyed it at first but the fun soon died out.
I just started on warmane lordaron. I really like the server so far, very active throughout my journey. I'm 36 druid.
Project ascension is a lot of fun.
I am playing on V+ right now and i am loving it Here stuff i liked But it is a heavy changed vanilia Here stuff you maybe find good
Every spec is viable heck paladin and shaman are broken in this server
ALL mobs got new ability so better watch out your back and dungeon/raid bosses got extra mehanics and not just slapped some extra hp on top of them
we got a new bg that is unique ((aszhara creater)) and geneal pvp is pretty great which not needing that crazy amount of grind for honor to rank up
There are like a couple world bosses that you can explore and figure out that the didnt exist in vanilia
A lot of spell got changed too so not just changed talents that got a massive rework a lot of spells got a rework too
There is a cross faction so ally can invite to party horde people and vice versa , same goes for whispears , world chat and ah (( all ah are connected))
Comminity is pretty chill and i like talking whit people and even thou it is a pvp server i had team up more time whit enemy faction that killing them xD
A lot of the end game dungeon like Dire Maul, BRD ,scholo , ect ect are now raids of 10 to 25 man size and they drop tier 0 set piece which got reworked too
There is a tier set for EACH SPEC like rogue got 2 differend sets paladin got 3 differend sets druids got 4 differend sets of tier 1 and the bosses drop tokens so you can choose what set you will get!
